Platelet Services’ Natalia Dovlatova and Charlotte Jewell recently spent several days in Orlando, Florida while attending the American College of Toxicology (ACT) 44th Annual Meeting which took place at the Rosen Shingle Creek Hotel and brings together a community of scientists from pharmaceutical and biotech industries, regulatory agencies, CROs, academia, and R&D consultants.
Key highlights
We were pleased to meet lots of contacts and potential clients at the event, and to be able to showcase the work of Platelet Services on our booth.
We particularly enjoyed the Plenary Lecture from Michael Callahan, titled ‘Gain of Function and Pandemic Therapies: A Double-Edged Sword’ focusing on certain aspects and concerns about current approaches in drug and vaccine development, and the symposium focused on ‘Immuno-Oncology Therapies: New Targets and Platforms, Development Strategy, and Regulatory Perspectives’.
We hope to see you at the next one!
We are both so grateful for the opportunity to attend the ACT 44th Annual Meeting, we felt incredibly welcomed and really enjoyed the whole event. We look forward to seeing everyone next year’s meeting in Austin, Texas, at our booth #511. In the meantime, keep an eye on our news page to find out more about upcoming events the Platelet Services team will be attending in the future.
