Sangita is an experienced research scientist with expertise in cell and molecular biology. She has a BSc in Biomedical Sciences and a PhD in Respiratory Medicine from the University of Nottingham. Her career in drug discovery began at XenoGesis with the in vitro DMPK team, and later she carried out cell based screening on a number of projects spanning from target validation to lead optimization. Sangita then joined Charnwood Discovery, working with the Bioscience team to develop high-throughput screening assays as well as bespoke biological assays. Sangita joined the Platelet Services Team in 2025 as Senior Research Scientist.
