Paul is an experienced research scientist with a strong background in blood sciences. He has a BSc in Biomedical Sciences, an MSC in Immunology and Allergy and a PhD in Immunology and Tissue Engineering from the University of Nottingham. Paul’s career started in the NHS as a biomedical scientist in haemotology and immunology. After seven years, he moved into industry working at Albumedix developing bespoke immunoassays, and then at XenoGesis working with the in vitro DMPK team to develop and validate bespoke biological assays. Paul joined Platelet Services in 2022 as Senior Research Scientist.
