About us
We are highly experienced scientists offering platelet testing services from our facility in Nottingham.
Our clients and collaborators include pharmaceutical and biotech companies, research organisations and universities. We have worked with a number of blue-chip pharma companies, including AstraZeneca, Eli Lilly and Company and Daiichi Sankyo, at various stages of their drug discovery projects.
Our core team was part of the Thrombosis and Haemostasis Research Group at the University of Nottingham, and then its spin-out company, Platelet Solutions. We have now established Platelet Services as a dedicated pre-clinical contract research and consultancy company.
With decades of collective experience in platelet research, we are experts in the field and ideally placed to offer complete support at any stage of your drug discovery and development if platelet testing is required. We also continue to expand the team with a focus on assay development, both in terms of the range of test systems we can offer and through converting existing platelet function tests to higher throughput formats to better support projects in early discovery.
